09.11.2013 года в селе Дмитровка Болградского района прошли праздничные мероприятия, приуроченные к 192 годовщине со дня основания села. Село названо в честь Св. Дмитрия Солонского, по этому день села празднуется ежегодно 8 и 9 ноября.

192 anniversary Celebrating of Dmitrovka in Bolgrad District was held on 09.11.13
On 09.11.2013 in the Dmitrovka village of Bolgrad District there were held celebrations to mark the 192 anniversary of the village founding. The village is named in honor of St. Demetrios Solon, on this day the village celebrated annually on 8 and 9 November.

To this day, the Odessa Regional Council Deputy Yury Dimchoglo gave villagers a welcome gift. He renovated village House of Culture, where more than 30 years there was no repair, resulting in the building began to deteriorate. With the financial support of Yuri Dimchoglo villagers were overhauled inside and outside the House of Culture.

The updated House of Culture held a gala concert featuring ensemble Dmitrovka folk group “Sevda Gul” from s. Reni Basin area, as well as special guests Yuri Dimchoglo and Honored Artist of the Republic of Moldova, the Gagauz singer Peter Petkovic .

Just the day in the village was an international wrestling tournament in memory of Vasil Bearda, champion of Ukraine, a native of Dmitrovka village. The tournament was organized by deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Anton Ivanovich Cisse , where they were awarded cash prizes and cups for worthy participants in the tournament .

In celebration of the village also participated actively the Odessa Regional Council deputy Maria Popova, also celebration was attended by the chairman of Bolgrad District Administration Mykhailo Sadaclia and chairman of the district council Maria Gaydarzhi .
