February 10, 2014 at the Odessa Regional Council there was hosted a meeting of the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in the south of Ukraine Lady Nur Sagman with the chairman of the Odessa Regional Council Nikolai Andreyevich Tindyuk. The Ukrainian side also attended the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine in Odessa Mr. Konstantin Rzhepishevsky and member of the Odessa Regional Council, member of the Standing Committee on interregional and international cooperation and investment Dimchoglo Yuri Dmitrievich.

The parties discussed the aspects of cultural and economic cooperation with the regions of the Odessa region of Turkey and exchanged plans for further cooperation.
Yuri Dimchoglo voiced invitation to the Turkish side and personally visit of Ms. Nur Sagman to southern districts of Odessa region and villages with compact Ukrainian Gagauz region residence.
