Dear Bessarabians!
Our country went through isolation of three month complex and bloody confrontation. The result of this isolation was a change in the central government and the removal of Viktor Yanukovych from the presidency. For us, the inhabitants of Bessarabia, as for many people in Ukraine, who always supported policies of the central authorities, it is difficult to realize that this choice was wrong.

Corruption, impunity and lawlessness led to mass protests, which escalated into armed clashes and deaths of citizens of Ukraine, one of the protesters and security forces on the other side. We know that for us, the inhabitants of the southern districts of Odessa region were always close to heart the idea of integration with Russia, as the Russian Empire, once gave our ancestors land and shelter in this region, and the Soviet period gave prosperity and welfare in this period. Therefore, residents of Bessarabia Ukrainian European integration policy are perceived with difficulty and caution. And that’s OK, because we – Bessarabians used to believe the deeds, but not talk. We are ready to support the new government of Ukraine, as well as European integration processes in the country, but not at the expense of friendship and economic relations with Russia and Belarus.
Today, I appeal to you, our fellow countrymen to unite in calling these difficult days for Ukraine, because I believe that the change of the central government, it is not the victory of one of the parties, and it produced a very high price chance. It is the chance to build a new Ukraine, chance to raise the Bessarabian region, give people jobs that they could work for the welfare of their families and country. We, the deputies born in the Bessarabian land know its value and problems with the first days of life, hope and will make every effort to make the new system of government, which will focus on the Council (the supreme, district, regional, urban and rural) and will act according to the return of the Constitution of 2004 turned to face his people!
After that Ukraine has experienced, we must unite for a wonderful future for our country, for the prosperity of our region!
